how we fundraise for local charities
Our charitable work pays off! The children have been having a great time and more to come.
Kent Wide Down-syndrome group punting tour was great fun!
How We Get Involved
Since 2016 we have raised over £2000 each year to help pay for summer activities for the KWDSG.
In 2016 we organised a sponsored punt ride across Kent, and since then we have organised annual raffle ticket sales.
Since 2016 we have organised a charity raffle and raised £2000 every year for an activities week. All with the exception of 2020 of course. This year we are up and running again, so please buy a ticket when you come into the shop for your tour.

Punting for Charity
Canterbury Punting Company is proud to be involved with several local charities. We have hosted events and fundraisers for East Kent Mencap, Kent Association for the Blind , and Kent Wide Down Syndrome Group.
2016 Charity Punting Tour for KWDSG
KWDSG promotes awareness and provides support for local people with Down Syndrome and their families. The activities we were able to host with the funds we raised were extremely valuable for many local families and offered opportunities to socialise as well as offering a relaxing break for parents and carers and a fun time had by all! or fancy CAMBRIDGE? follow this link http://www.scholarspuntingcambridge.co.uk
how we clean the river
Canterbury Punting Company in conjunction with the Kentish Stour Countryside Project organise a rubbish clearance of the River Stour. This takes place 2-3 times per year. If you would like to help conserve the river then feel free to join us. The next clean will be the 14th of June.
